Too much partying? Its Mardi Gras - and yes the odd drag queen might be seen tomorrow morning “taking a break” in the midst of an after-party - it's all part of the love! The boys celebrate Mardi Gras this year sporting @OhJaffa’s <Rainbow Grid> bow ties, with wigs & glitter sashes. It’s been a while since the boys & I collaborated on a dress-up.
Happy Mardi Gras everyone!
And if you were wondering:
It all started with a march on Saturday 24th June 1978 at 10pm. The gay community gathered on Oxford Street, Sydney, to march for equal rights. 37 years since, we celebrate #LGBTQ rights nearly every year & yet, as a society, the law still refuses to recognise equal rights of this community - it's as simple as any human having the right to find love, celebrate with marriage & have a family. Australia, we need to advance.
Tthis shoot took me 4 hours to produce, from concept building, costume making, shoot & post production. Thanks to the Mr for his assistance.
