I had great pleasure in photographing this great pug, Chester, who lives in Sydney with his human 'Mum' June and 'sister' Alison.
Chester is 5 - he displays a serious and sweet nature. He’s protective of his housemates - and gentle also towards the other household lodgers - two guinea pigs named Coco & Opal. Oh - did I say two guinea pigs? You all know by now that’s one set of creatures I will always support. So it was nice to meet a pug after my own heart! So guess who’s the older brother here.
Chester & Co opened their home to me and demonstrated great skill baking banana & chocolate chips cake (the humans did most of the work, Chester provided inspiration). Delish! The process was documented by yours truly as part of the shoot and you can check it out here in the blog. I can’t reveal here how much I ate - that information remains a professional secret :P
I was also treated to a short jamming session with Alison on the ukulele with June singing along. Great fun! Chester provided moral support - nodding his head at every turn of the rhythm - am sure if he had a human voice he would sing along too (even perhaps jam on the ukulele too!)
Later, we explored Narrawang Parklands - where the handsome pug blended well with the natural environment. Its was a good outing - I had a great time guys! Again you can see some of the pics highlighted in this blog. More in the slideshow at the end.
We’re currently awaiting Chester’s fine art album & wall art to arrive.
