Guess who’s Peanut and who’s Nelson. (Answers at the end of this blog post)
Peanut gets up at 5am with Nic on a daily basis - all ready to rock and roll - I was told he zips around the house. Whilst Nelson, well, not quite a morning person like Cherry (I don’t blame him!) - who probably gets up and about a maximum of 3 times in a day just for the essentials.
Both were adopted - one rescued after being retired from racing. The other, well, his previous owner couldn’t afford vet treatment.
I can’t imagine any more an unlikely pair than Peanut and Nelson - not just the size difference but personality-wise.
We spent the morning hanging out in the urban streets of Potts Point. We were blessed by great weather. I think they had fun. I sure did.

Peanut = white fluffy, breed unknown but probably something small crossed with something tiny. He sleeps in Nelson’s bed and has to be moved away by the hoomins. Can you believe he’s 3 years old? And size doesn’t matter to this little guy.
Nelson = majestic greyhound, 7 years old, who gets bossed around by Peanut. Nightly routine before bedtime involves going up to Cherry for her help to reclaim his bed from Peanut.
