“Frug”, pronounced “Froog”, is a cross breed Frenchie* and Pug, not to be confused with the popular vigorous dance music in the mid-1960s for eg the “Do the Funky Chicken” (the Chicken Dance - you step side-to-side while you flap your arms like chooks do. It’s pretty fun, try it).
This Frug goes by the name Haki (“check” or “flag” in Maori) - just passed 1 year old at the time of our session (late Autumn).
A cheeky little fellow with a big personality, Haki’s parents apologised ahead of time that he still needed some work on his commands.
I think Haki did beautifully at the session, especially when home cooked organic chicken was served! We managed to meet and shoot together before Haki left Sydney for Melbourne with his parents.
Having met Haki, I’m on the lookout for more Frugs on the streets! I miss this little guy.
