We took advantage of the long Easter-ANZAC back-to-back weekends and did an impromptu road trip to the Southern Highlands. We set out late on Friday and it was pouring like there was no tomorrow in Sydney. We turned back, had lunch and then set out again when the rain stopped. Half way there, it started to rain and when we got to the Southern Highlands, it was foggy. Eerie and beautiful; my kind of a weather. Pity I didn't have a session booked that time else it would have been amazing. A trip to the country wasn't complete without meeting the locals - we were greeted by Sally & Candy and their crew. And yes, I drove the Bug (my faithful employee 1964 VW Beetle).
