Three weekends ago Dalston turned 1. Due to our busy schedules, Dalston’s ‘parents’ (who are a couple of my closest friends and pretty awesome creative people), and I decided to catch up the weekend after to celebrate with a photoshoot (I’d already had fun doing one for these guys Jan 2014). I made a wish for the weather to be cool - preferably windy - you see, I don’t operate well in warmer weather, anything more than 17 Degrees C won’t agree with me. I got what I wished for - it was cool and it was really windy (#becarefulwhatyouwishfor!) So we left the cake and candles behind and decided to hide under shrubs and have a little play with the hats.
Liv wanted a family portrait because:
We love occasions - we love organising occasions - including parties for our pet. This was an important milestone for Dalston - his first year of life. Dalston is part of the family and we love him to bits (he grows up too fast)! We had Julianna from twoguineapigs photographed our family portrait so we can share them with our family overseas and friends about - mostly, it was so much fun.
Compare the 3rd last image with the last one to see how much Dalston has grown in just 8 months.
Dalston's 1st Birthday shoot is featured on White Magazine.
